Hi guys I have a Savage 12FV on order. I go to pick it up next tuesday. It comes with the plain cheap plastic stock. I was thinking of upgrading. I was looking at the Bell Carson medalist varmint/tactical in od with spider web, price is about $230-250. I think the stock looks amazing and comes with aluminum bedding. I want to know if its 100% drop in? Is it a good stock or should I just stay with the factory one?

Check out Stockade Stocks. Kevin Rayhill over there knows Savages and makes nice stocks. I have one of his on a 12FVSS. It shoots lights out.

Also alot of them say they are for savage 10, short action. it will still work on my 12 right, it the same action.
