AGCA show, Hoover Met

I used to look forward to the AGCA shows back when it was at the BJCC convention hall. I got some great deals in the past and saw some cool stuff. Now it just seems to be a bunch of dealers pushing their Glocks on wannabes. Too many coins and knives too. It's a shame. If I didn't have anything else better to do I would check it out but already have plans this weekend...

We use it now more as a meeting place, the BJCC was/is a shit hole, (like all of BHM )glad it was moved out. I love to listen to all stories myself. The education garnered there is priceless, an would make a good third grade read in the fairy tale section.

Why u want to learn brokeback mountain stories for 3rd graders?

Sides, that's Roy Moore country up there, sisters n (ahem!) younger women...

Can't argue with that! And yes, lots of great stories!

I always liked it when Dale from Bham Pistol Parlor came through - that's the first person I ever met that knew the difference in various models or upgrades of a lot of firearms.

Or A.B. Dow (from Fla) an watching him tell the FNG's that the M1, M1carbine or M1A they just bought was not as sold an could back it all up/prove it right then an there. I had him work on a title II H&R M14e2 of mine while his shop was in his home in Ridge Manor, before he opened his shop in Dade City. Man, that is going back in time right there.

The Hoover Met is 200% better than the BJCC. Free parking, friendly LE, an clean. Prices were much higher on many things an give away on other, things. 5K CCI 350 100 bucks out the door, also seen some new powders I've never seen before so will be checking on those as well as some of it was in the 12-14 bucks a pound. They had it in fast pistol/shotgun to about Varget IMR 4064 burn rates. I was looking for stuff in the RE 23/26/33 range an the guy said he would check an to cal him end of next week. Seen old friends, had breakfast before the show with 12 guys an we went over lots of what if shit, an new como gear, ect.
All in all a good day until back to Gadsden where the B/S of city fucks kicked in to high gear again.
