Rifle Scopes AI AE III Mounting ideas options ?

So I am going to be mounting up a 3.5-15 NF F1 to a AIAE.

The goal is a 20 Moa / 6 Mil mount to allow the use of a ACI.

What say you? Sounds like the options are:

-New Murphy Precision 20 Moa Rail, use standard rings with the current rail mounted ACI

-Spuhr Mount, factory AE rail, buy the Spuhr ACI mount

-AI 18 Moa one piece mount, factory AE rail, try and find a way to use the rail mounted ACI

Spuhr being the most expensive route, Murphy rail being inexpensive, AI mount is not much more. Not sure I want to spend the coin to replace both the rail and a Spuhr

Anybody been through this, what worked best ?

Spuhr mount does not work well on the factory rail.

Go with the Murphy Precision option if you really want an ACI.

Spuhr without a doubt. I saw a link on here that had a rail with all the grooves in the mount. Let me know if you need it. Found it..

You can get a Flat Murphy Precision that is a full pic and then put the Spuhr on that, using his mount.

You don't have to get the 20MOA Murphy, he did make me a flat version, that closely replaces the AE rail.

I have one of the Murphy bases for my AE to go with a Spuhr. Nice piece.

He'll make them in whatever angle you want, to go over 30MOA he needs to order some thicker stock to start with.

The Murphy base is higher than the factory AE base but the final scope height of the factory AE base with factory AE mount is almost identical to the taller Murphy mount with the shorter 1.18" high Spuhr.

The Murphy in the appropriate cant will also work well with standard rings.

With a NF F1 you have enough elevation to run it on the flat base. I do.

And you don't need an ACI.

Ken Farrell offers a -20MOA base for $118. I run that, too.
