1 WEEK LEFT: This Target Haunts Me Contest
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I run 1,1" rings and a 5-25x56 scope and there is plenty of room between the objective and barrel. Allthough, I dont have any plans of ever running a NV.
I tried with 1" rings and while it works the cheekpiece is all the way down. I wanted a zero cant badger mount and it only comes with in 1.5" but I didnt think it would look THAT high
Yes, I run the cheekpiece in the lowest setting too. I dont see a problem with that.
However I have tried the AIAT chassis with lower than 1" rings and that is a no go, since then the cheekpiece gets in the way.
That rifle has a 3-12x50, the 1.5" height is needed to align with the NV properly. Also note that rifle has the factory higher pic rail, you can get a lower profile rail.

Yeah i understand why the scope has to be high to align with NV. I doubt I'll ever put NV so i probably should ve gone with a lower mount. Mount should be here next week so we'll see how it will look.
Thanks for letting me know that a lower rail is avail i wasn't aware if it. Do you know how much lower it is from highee rail?
Now that I'm comparing my AT to pics online it looks like mine already came with low/lower rail. It has a part# 26980 on it that doesnt exist per eurooptic but at least it says 20moa on it.
