AI Barrel Swap

I finally after a year of shooting my AI purchased a second barrel in a different caliber (22 Creedmoor). I also picked up a new Thunderbeast can.

I was curious if it’s better to just direct thread the can or it if I can still use a muzzle device. When I remove and re-install a barrel, will the muzzle drive still be timed? It’s rare I shoot without a suppressor but it has happened.

Mount vs direct thread is a personal choice. I like mounts. The barrel will always go back to its index when you reinstall it. If the brake needs to be timed, install the barrel first, then install/time the muzzle brake.

What TBAC can did you get? Their CB muzzle devices are nice.

Than true direct thread is not really an option. Just pick up a TBAC CB Brake. You will be happy with it.

Sorry. If torqued to the same spec each time, it should time the same each time.

The barrel times the same each time, and so should the muzzle device.

The POI may change a small bit, though.
