AI mags and 6mm BR

What kind of AI mags are you talking about? AICS or AW mags?
There's mag kits available for both style of mags. I don't use any AI mags, but with kits I've had no problem getting AICS mags to work in a my actions with 6BRA.

I have never had any issues with 6BR in my AX, but I use AX mags (AW mag with a little tap up front) and the HRD 6mm mag kit.
I shoot 6BR in MDT AICS 12 round mags (not the br version).
As long as I move all my rounds to the front of the magazine body, they feed reliably.

HRD makes a spacer for the AW mags and as stated above the MDT 6mm AICS style hold 12 and are great. If you want a place that sells both check out Short Action Precision website.
I should clarify that I only use AW mags in my AI rifle. I hate AW mags in anything except my AI rifle. And I have AW cut receiver - still don’t run right. And that’s with non BR calibers.
