AI mags not locking into chassis???

Just got my GAP 338 today! All seemed well until i tried to put one of the extra AI mags into the well, I tired both of the extras I had. It will not lock in??? I got to looking, and the mag GAP sent me back was not the AI the chassis came with, but a accurate-mag, and it works... WTF??? any ideas?

I had the problem with some new AI mags I bought...

I had to grind down the top of the catch on the mag just a little bit, then it was like butta

Did you contact GAP to see what they recommend?

they machined the chassis to deep...... gonna have to go back......


damn thing will not even extract empty brass.... not happy
