Rifle Scopes AI mount question

I have a 34mm 28moa mount, my question is do the make different ring heights? the reason I ask is because I just picked up a S&B 5-25 and it doesn't sit all the way in the rings......... WTF

You have an older mount the center needs to be machined for clearance of the scope. The new mounts already come fixed.

Yes they make multiple sizes. I used a medium height one piece spuhr mount on may AIAX to mount a S&B 3-20 and the lens caps kept the forward end just a hair from seating properly. I had to exchange it for a high mount as I wanted to keep the same lens caps. I still need to rotate the 50mm objective cap just off center to make it fit flush. Is the objective touching the rail or is it the lens cap?
