I like the "erector set" stock assembly found on the newer AXMC and 2014 AX AICS units (as opposed to the stock on my pre 14 AX) but I don't have to have the quick change barrel mechanism. Does anyone know if its possible to take the 2014 New model AICS stock off and place it on a Pre 2014 AI AX308? It it works, I would buy a 2014 New Model AX AICS and harvest the rear end off of it to put on my Pre 14 AI AX308. I know they fold in different directions but my thinking is it could still work. Thoughts?
