Well I finally got to take my AE out to the range to sight it in... I was a little worried about this unit since I have totally changed direction with my long range gear... I recently purchased a new GAP Crusader in .308 and this rifle also in .308... I have already sighted the Crusader in so the bar was set pretty high...Along with me for the day was Steve M. who just posted up his new Badger Ordnance built rig (which is awsome by the way) for a cold day at the range...The AE was on paper on the first shot and only required two shots for sight in.. The next four are in the photo below so I was excited to say the least..The smallest group of the day was shot with Steve's hand loads which consist of Winchester brass,Hornady 168gr match,44.5gr. Varget @ 2750fps the group was basically same hole for five shots..I shot Black Hills 168gr also which posted up 2643 fps as advertised and POI did not change...I was also worried there would be alot of cold bore shift with this rifle but I tried it many different ways and did not experience anything of the sort... I am really impressed with the Accuracy International product,I know it has been said many times but these rifles are really built well and I believe the AE MKIII is one of the best values out there custom or factory..Here are the specs
