Putting together my new rig. I have a 16 AIAT and just got a gen 2 Razor 4.5-27. I plan to use a Spuhr 1 piece mount but am unsure which is proper for this rifle. I believe the AT has 20 MOA built into the top rail from the factory so I am pretty sure I dont need anymore in the mount but please confirm. Also what height works best with the AT? It looks like they come in 1.1", 1.3", 1.5" and 1.7" heights. Thanks

SP-4001 works well

The Sp-4001 is the one you need. It is 0 moa. Since your AT comes standard 20 moa base, a 0 moa Spuhr mount is what you need. Now as soon as I say this someone will chime in and say you need a 20, 30 or even 40 moa Spuhr mount on top of your AI 20 moa scope base. Trust me you don't. Ray

The spuhr 4001 (1.18" height) and the spuhr 4011 (1.10" height) will both work for your application. A friend of mine has his Vortex Gen 2 4.5-27 mounted in a 4011 on a AI AXMC with the forward rail removed. It's a bit harder to see the spuhr level when the scope is lower however, though it's not completely obstructed or anything. Also, there is very little clearance between the base of the scope turret housing and the Spuhr surface. The clearance is about 0.020", so it's clearly not interfering. Personally I like the extra clearance between the scope tube and the barrel (or the tube around the barrel) for my thumb when I'm grabbing the rifle.

If you ever use NVG setup down the road you will need the 1.5. I mention it because I just went through this with my rifles and the PVS30 I just bought.

Same here i kinda wish i would have gotten a taller mount for that reason now, i am sure i can find a smaller wedge that will fit, ill try a find a spare wedge and cut it down

***update***

I looked at it closer and realized I had to rotate the parallax knob and adjust it so it clears the wedge. I also moved the scope as close as I could to forward most ring so it would have about 1/8 inch clearance to the front of the erector housing. it barely fits but it worked. keep working the knob till the wedge is in the root of the knurling and you can see how it barely clears the wedge.
