Yesterday when we were out doing some dope gathering, my buddy noticed his AIAX bolt was hanging up intermittently. After a couple rounds the bolt wouldn’t even close. We pulled it out and a little set screw on the bottom of the cocking piece worked its way out and was hanging up in the receiver. Long story short, we swapped pins from my rifle to his and finished our day. The set screw that worked its way out was mangled so I grabbed another 3mm set screw to replace it. It looks like there’s another set screw below the one that came out. Anyone out there know what these do????? Is it an adjustment that we should check before buttoning everything back up. Pic below. The Allen wrench is pointing to the screw. Thx

Those two screws secure the cocking piece to the firing pin. The second one has a point that fits into a dimple in the firing pin. You remove the first one and loosen the second one to allow adjusting the firing pin protrusion by turning the firing pin. Put locktite on the outer screw when you install it.
