Gunsmithing AIAX chassis bedding?

Thoughts on bedding Surgeon 1086 actions in AX chassis? Some say rear tang only but I'm thinking a full skim coat.

Shoot it first. The Post-2014 chassis have a bedding interface that was revised to provide better support for the action, especially under the tang.

I have a pre and post, i will have to compare them. Had a Defiance Deviant w heavy rear tang in it and shot lights out.. Thanks for the info.

I have a pre and post-2014 AX AICS too. My pre-2014 chassis has a Remington 700 AAC-SD bolted into it that shoots lights out with factory match and it's just torqued in at 55 in/lbs, nothing special. Like I said, shoot it first and see how it does.
