AICS 2.0 or AICS AX

Re: AICS 2.0 or AICS AX

Probably a bit too early to tell at this point, since the AX chassis is not widely available to non-mil shooters yet. I have the same thought. But I am certain that anything AI makes is going to be equally good, if not better than their earlier products, I assume. Stacey and other folks at AI can chime in.

Re: AICS 2.0 or AICS AX

I love my AICS and from talking with Mile High the AX is about 1 to 1.5 lbs lighter. I'm finishig up a 300WM for myself and can't wait to get an AX to put it in and give it a try : )

You could always run the AICS until the AX becomes more available. Hopefully it will be soon.

I think that is what more than just a few folks are doing.

I really want to get my hands on a SA AX for a Badger M2008 build in the works at GAP. If I can get one before the build is done, then it will go into the AX.

If not, then it will be built with the AICS 2.0 and wait for the AX.

Re: AICS 2.0 or AICS AX

I'm hearing it might be soon. The long actions might be the first available too. I'm looking to pick one up for my 300WM build. Everyone that I talked to so far that has handled one says they are really comfortable and well thought out in design and function. They said if you like the AICS you will love the AX, can't wait to try one and find out for myself!

Exactly what I am hoping for and why I have not purchased an AICS yet. When the AXCS is released I am sure there will be more than a couple AICS up for sale.

I'll be one of them, let me know if you need a deal on a LA 300 chassis LW.

Re: AICS 2.0 or AICS AX

I'm still in the air on the AX for a "do all" stick. Still would like the weight of it. Correct on the AICS sales, I would expect to start seeing those soon.

Re: AICS 2.0 or AICS AX

I believe the AX AICS would be the closest fit to the AE as there might not be plans to allow for an AE/AX upgrade. The action screw spacing would be totally different and modification might invalidate the warranty.

Plse let me know if I'm wrong on this cos I'd like to upgrade

Re: AICS 2.0 or AICS AX

Anyone know if the AXCS comes with this scope rail? I have never seen one like it, and it looks made specificaly for the AX chasis system.
