So, my search-fu is weak, so I'm tapping the experts here to help provide some guidance.

I recently purchased an AICS 2.0 and Timney trigger for my SPS Tactical. After installing the trigger and placing the action back into the stock, I noticed both the bolt catch and the safety are getting hung up. The bolt catch does not engage and the safety cannot be placed from the fire position back into safe.

Is this a case where I need to "grind" on the bolt catch lever and the safety arm? If so, where? Or is this a case where one would need to do some inletting or grinding on the stock?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I had a binding problem with a jewel trigger safety. It is a top right safety and a bottom bolt release. I had to machine out the area next to the safety lever to free it up and everything works fine.

Remove your barreled action from the stock, looking at the left side of your trigger, engadge the safety and disengadge it, you will see a little pin popping in and out.

With the safety engadged, use a hand file or dremel and grind down that pin untill it sits almost flush with the trigger housing, notice I said ALMOST flush, dont go too far. And that will fix the safety issue with your trigger. With the bolt catch, you are on your own.
