AICS 338 Lapua Questions

I'm looking to put one of these on a 700LA in 338LM. I do have a couple questions.

1. How heavy is it?

2. Are they as reliable as the SA version?

3. Does someone have a picture of a 2.0 mounted up?

I've enquired about one over here in the UK. I was told the basic LA will fit the .338 but the problem is there is a very limited mag length. Apparently AI are bringing out a specific .338 ACIS chassis (like they have for the surgeon actions) towards the back end of this year.

Got my 300WM in an LA AICS chassis and wouldn't part with it for all the tea in China!

I wouldn,t hold your breath buddy. It took us 12 months of pestering to get the aics for the surgeon XL in stock.

The AICS for the 338 LM is in stock at Midway.

For the Long Action AICS, you're looking at a weight of 6 pounds for the folding stock (3oz less for fixed). They're every bit as reliable as the short action; no issues there. As far as pictures go, there's tons of them in this thread here:
