AICS chassis dimensions?

couple questions from someone who has one handy...

can you tell me how wide the AICS chassis block is at the receiver? is it the same width down the barrel channel?

also, what does it step down to inside the buttstock?

(EDITED to clarify - underneath the panels width of the aluminum)
