Gunsmithing AICS heavy barrel bedding?

I have read different threads on the pros and cons of bedding aics stocks. I have had several aics chassis but never felt the need for bedding until now. My concern is that the barrel I have is quite heavy and am wondering if it needs a pad under it. Here are the build specs:
Action: Bighorn tl2 long action magnum.
Caliber: 338 RUM
Barrel: Bartlein amu 1.35 for 3.5 inches tapers to about .87. Finished at 30 inches+APA FAT Bastard
Stock: AICS 2.0

Should I bed the action and barrel pad? I am not concerned with devaluing the stock. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

The only bedding I've seen on the AICS chassis is the rear tang! the edges of it is the only thing making contact onto the chassis.
