AICS Mag for 6.5-284 in REM 700 LA

Hi folks

First post and have searched high and low and cannot seem to find anyone who has said what works best.

So new build is on a REM 700 LA in a HS Precision stock with Atlas elite DBM and looking at which mag to try first for best feeding in 6.5-284 What do you suggest - 30-06 type or 300win mag?

I used a 300wm magazine in mine,that was a long time ago on a Lawton action.
I do remember it worked great with a little tweaking of the feed lips.

Thanks M338. I am guessing more to do with mag than action (other than length) with DBM?
