Aics mags question

Need a education on these. Going to get a hmr pro and it uses these. Obviously I'm not familiar with these, but I see multiple rifle brands use them.
For a 6.5 prc, where can I find them?
Is thier different types of aics mags (besides caliber)?
Is it basically like a AR mag, all are the same as far as compatibility, round count and caliber are basically the difference?

For the 6.5 PRC, I use the Accurate mags “WSM” magazine. Regular AICS pattern steel magazine, but with a little more internal space and a different feed lip shape. I think MDT makes a similar magazine.

Accurate WSM mags are the no brainer route.
modded AI mags are doable.
Slightly Modded ARC mags are what I currently use for my short magnum.

So is the magpul magnum long action suitable for this?

I'm pretty certain that it will use an AICS short action magazine without a binder plate. Like was said, the WSM mag should be perfect for the 6.5 PRC.

The Magnum long action from Magpul is not what you are looking for. That is for actual long action round like WM.

Not unless your running a long action.
