Gunsmithing AICS replacement magazine springs

Help, anyone know of a source of .223 flat magazine springs that can be modified to fit in 10 round AI mags to function with a 6mm BR round. The AICS 10 round polymer mags only hold 7 6mm BR rounds. The springs in the 10 round .308 are to long to add a spacer in the rear for reliable feeding.

I put the spacer in the front of the mag with my 6BR. The shim is about .375 thick and just clears the spring. How wide did you open the .223 mag to get it to work?

I opened the feed lips to .412 with a ball end burr. How did you put a spacer in front with the full length springs in the mag box? The spring in the accurate mag fits all across the mag.Thanks,
