AICS Spigot - HELP Needed

Searched but couldn't find much.


Just got an AICS 1.5, trying to figure out exactly what I need/don't need to attach a bipod. Do I just buy the atlas spigot mount online (plus bipod)? I also see people that have two mounts (one off the other) to decrease the distance from bipod to muzzle and I assume to also run NV.

I also could not find out for the life of me how to get it off. No screws anywhere, and when I push down on the tab it does nothing.

Push the triangle looking button forward and pull on the post at the same time. That should release it. This picture looks strange to me because it looks like you got part of the spigot but not the whole thing. But I'm not that experienced so others can chime in. I bought Atlas bipod with the AI spigot. Works great on AICS 2.9

Yea, that's a Versa Pod reverse spigot. Push the detent button and remove and discard, in that order. All kidding aside, the Versa Pod is a good bipod, just wish the swivel/lock up point was not soft aluminum

I'm pushing down on the detent and trying to pull the spigot out, no luck.

Are there any spigot mounts that have a pic rail on the bottom?

Check out Big Dog Steel's AI spigot mount. Do a search here for it and you will find a lot of pictures. He has them on his website but I think he is out of them right now. PM him here on the hide and he will tell you more.
