aimpoint 3x maginifer clone

any one use one ? I bought one just waiting for it to come in the mail and though I would ask opinions as well as how does the twist mount work ? It comes with the twist but I think i would rather have the samson mount, opinions please

Got one at a gun show and it wasn't bad. For 3x the glass doesn't need to be super clear (at least that's my opinion).

I'm not big on knock offs, but since mine didn't say Aimpoint on it I didn't feel too bad.

Have you looked at the new Vortex VMX3 or whatever its called? Looks like a very good alternative, from a great company.

do i need to use my arms goose neck mount to level out with a 3x and its twist mount or can i just use the arms #22 with no spacers?

I had the magnifier on an AR-57 and it held up great for basic range use. It was on a very light recoiling weapon and I didn't put it through any sort of "field test" so I can't account for its overall durability. Since It has minimal moving parts, I suspect that it would be difficult to cause it to fail.

iam guessing i will need to use my goose neck mount to come up and match the twist mounts height
