My question is in regards to an Aimpoint M68 on an AR15. We use this weapon and optic where I work and they have been telling us that it will hold its zero with any user. I come from the military, just infantry training, but we zeroed our ACOG's quite frequently even when we weren't deployed. I was always under the impression that different users had different settings for their optics or iron sights. I just thought I would throw this question out there to those more educated in this then me.
We qualify from the 200 yard line and in with it. I am by no means a great shooter, but I feel quite proficient with this weapon and sights, it couldn't be any easier right than shooting an AR with a Aimpoint right?
Like I said, the range personnel say that it will be zeroed for anyone and everyone, I and several others with a little bit of shooting background find this hard to believe. Thanks.

My apologies if this is in the wrong forum, fairly new to this.

Re: Aimpoint M68 AR15 flattop multiple user zero?

I wouldent trust it!
And I wouldent trust the gun/optic unless I had tried it several times myself to be really sure.

Testfire the gun over a period of time at the same distance (100 yard for example) check where the rounds hit each time.
If it's consistent it's great, but if it's not you gotta do something about it or at least be carefull about it's limitations.
