Re: Aimpoint Micro T-1 mounting options

GDI has them, I don't know if they are available to the public yet

I have the American Defense SOCOM height Aimpoint T-1 mount but would prefer the GDI since I'm lefthanded and the GDI release lever is on the right side of the rifle where I can more easily access it.

Please post what GDI say about the T-1 mount availability.

Yes let us know. I just bought an H-1 that Midway was selling and I am going to need a mount.

Re: Aimpoint Micro T-1 mounting options

I haven't had my ADM mount for a while but IIRC you can undo the 4 screwy things on the bottom, rotate the red dotty thing & put the screw thingies back in with the release lever on the opposite side.

My next AP mount will probably be the DD version to keep weight down. Unlike my work guns, It's rare that I use the QD option on most of my fun guns anyway.

Re: Aimpoint Micro T-1 mounting options

I prefer the lower height as well, so I run the LT660HK designed for the higher top rail of the HK416. A little bit lower than the new LT-751 absolute cowitness. Keep in mind this will put standard BIS in the upper 1/3, so you will need to run flip-ups so as not to obscure the sight picture. Or you can run the Troy Micro Battlesights which are lower than standard.

Optic centerline to rail:
LT660 - 1.725"
LT751 - 1.4"
LT660HK - 1.31"

Re: Aimpoint Micro T-1 mounting options

Their website has only a mailing address in Temecula, CA and a FAX number - 951.303.0985

I wonder if Steve at Triad could pursue the GSI T-1 mount, if available, and offer it on the Triad website?

Re: Aimpoint Micro T-1 mounting options

Daniels Defense has a pretty reasonable option also.

Pretty economical.

I have the Larue and KAC mounts and have handled the ADM and DD. I would go Larue or KAC.

Re: Aimpoint Micro T-1 mounting options

I have seen the GDI products in the past and they are nice. I think Frank and RO has had good luck the the ACOG mounts. No plans at Triad to get back into the Aimpoint/mounts market right now.

Personally, Im in the market for two T-1 mounts right now. If I dont see the GDI mounts soon, I will go with ADM.
