Was booking a flight today for the Bushnell Brawl and saw that all the airlines had an 11 pound limit (total)on all ammo. I'm thinking 300 rounds of 260 and 100 rounds of 40 S&W in cases will weight more than 11 lbs. Has anyone ever had trouble with this?

Ship it down ahead of time. It's what I always do. Better than getting to the airport, getting a stickler for the rules and getting stuck with no ammo. Also leaves more room for gear.

FWIW - 180 rounds of .308 175 gr match ammo inside 9x20 rnd factory boxes weighs almost exactly 5 kg (11 lbs). If you need more than that (as it sounds like you do), you'll need to ship it as mentioned above. Having a contact person (the recipient; maybe someone associated with the match) on the other end can simplify the process and let you know it arrived safely. It's worth the peace of mind if it's possible for you to arrange the shipment that way.

Well you two would know best and that's what I was thinking I was going to have to do. Damn... Thanks for the info Rob/Mike!

You can ship it right to Rifles Only and pick it up when you register.

No problem.
