.45 vs 9mm
.556 vs .308
Gas gun vs Bolt gun

Sounds like fun,
9mm passes through without enough expansion thats why .45 is better
.556 compared to a 308 is a good one, besides the recoil the 308 is much better!
Gas gun builds up more debris but has repeat shots while a bolt is manual and also a good choice.

that may be so, but then maybe we shouldn't assume, just because a Bulgarian reject parts kit, combined by some guy in his basement in the USA, shoots 8" groups at 50yrds, that all AK's are bad.

I own nothing but RUSSIAN AKs and mine are wonderful. As you can see, I have 5.

My answer is......pink!

It's a BS question that doesn't have an answer. Either is an effective combat weapon. Both have strengths and weaknesses.

Warriors can do battle with either.

I have both. I have my preferences due to familiarity. My choice would have more to do with logistics than with the platform.

Yeah, but the .45 is too small, and is outperformed by the 10mm and .50GI
