Need some advice from others here who own both. Which would be your choice ? I like what I've been reading that the AK round has good barrier penetration, but not sure if spare parts for AKs and ammunition are going to be harder to get? My other choice was to build a KISS AR 15. There are lots of spare parts avalible and ammunition is everywhere, but I've read that the 223 round has poor barrier penetration. I'm staying at $600.oo price range. So which way would you throw your money, AK or Kiss AR 15? Thanks for your help!

I sold a mini 14 and picked up an arsenal sgl-31 and couldn't be happier. Ammo is 26 cents versus 40 cents for .223 so that in itself is a huge win. I also got the NATO length stock version as I have also had length of pull issues with an AK. It makes a ton of difference on the ergonomics of the AK platform
