Looking for some info on my 100 round AK drum. It's a Chinese style mag and approx. 20 years old. The drum doesn't have any manufacturer markings and I'd like to know who may have made it and what it's worth should I decide to sell it.

Any thoughts?

Maker?
value- the 75rd have been selling for $120-160 lately. I have only seen a couple 100rd for sale and all were reserves in the $400-500 range but none of them sold. I would guess $180-250 but who knows with how crazy some people are going right now.

in this climate, $200-$250 is a reasonable price for a 100-rounder. much higher than that and you'll just look like CTD.

prior to this chicken little nonsense, they were in the 150-175 range with 75's in the 80-125 range for chinese depending on condition. korean, russian, and romanian are a little less due to the nature of how they're loaded (one at a time from the top as opposed to the chinese where the back opens and you wind it up).

ETA: You could probably toss it on arfcom for 300 and sell it pretty quickly. There's all kinds of late-comers on there.

How do you know any magazine's capacity without loading it?
