Re: All in one super can
..
Yes, both in 6.5/260 and 6.8 and .223 and in FA.
The very best is a deep penetration welded can out of a solid block of titanium. FA rated, precision made on brand new 7-axis. Quiet as it gets, as tough as it gets, as precise as it gets. But, one has to honestly ask themselves if they want to spend more than a grand on a can. Thread on only. I have the same can in .30 and I will tell you that, while the extra internal volume helps (especially in gas op blow back), no well made can that is overbore can match acoustically a can made exactly for a given caliber. .223 to 6.5 to 6.8? Yes to .30 no, its good but not excellent.
When you see the cans together, well it becomes pretty damn clear. When one fashions the exterior envelope (tube) out of solid, one gets to make the wall thickness anything one wants.
End caps become works of art in strength and protection and baffles can be welded deeply for the full 360. Surfaces get worked for thermal radiation, especially at the diffuser and primary.
6.8
If you do your work you will not be buying YHM and a whole host of others. There are great cans out there, hear them all, shoot as many as you can and understand the basics and you will not be disappointed. If the issue is precision shooting, you will be threading on. Good luck.
