I spoke with an engineer from sako in the spring of 2012. He told me they had LE/MIL contracts through mid 2013 at the time. So whether business has increased or if beretta usa is the wrench in the gears I don't know. While I don't agree with what beretta usa imports they are in the business of making money. If the product was a top seller it would still be available. I would love a TRG 42 in 300 win but they didn't move. Also beretta usa is much more of a hunting company at heart and the precision rifle doesn't really fit in with the company's ethos.
