Alliant Reloder TS15.5

I got 40ish pounds of it, I like it alot. Running it in mine and my Wife's GTs. I just tested 108 BT target bergers at .035 off lands in mine. TL3, Bartlein gain twist 26" 8.25 to 7. It seems to run 105s to 110s at 34-34.5 but as you can see it just shoots.

@briang7511 What’s your opinion on it? Is it as dirty as I’m thinking it’ll be? And many yards was that target?
that was 100y. as far as a complete test at distance i have not done that yet. its my busy season so havent done much in the reloading room. definetely a good compromise to varget. need to explore the 35.0 area a bit. didnt notice if it was dirty, small sample. will get some loaded, headed to the 1000 range next week.

So I just got back from the range. I tested 33.6-35.2grains of reloader 15.5 in my 6 GT using 108 eld. All 4 shot groups at 100 yards. SD ranging from 2.3-8.8. Worst group was 0.695” and the best was 0.160”. With the average being 0.397”. So with that being said this powder will replace varget for me in the 6GT!

I love it, the lot I have is a little bit slower than Varget. Seems to be really temp stable. I use it in BR cartridges, and it works great, I have no complaints with accuracy. Works every bit as good to me as Varget. It is a little dirtier than Varget. I think this powder would be ideal in the ARC cartriges as well. I don’t think it’s ideal for the creedmore family we have RL16 for that.
