I sent a suppressor out on the 19th to have a new end cap made, I sent a print along with the suppressor and the end cap was nothing fancy just a flat end cap with spanner wrench pin holes in its face, the one that was on it was domed and i hated it.

I talked to the company guy on the phone and he said it would be no big deal with a turn around time of 4 days tops, he also said he would look and see if the baffles could come out while he had the front of the suppressor open.

the monday after shot show i emailed them to see if the suppressor got their and they said it did but the guy that was working on it was sick, so from monday after shot until today my suppressor has not even been touched.

my c3 dealer wants a date the suppressor will be delivered, now i am personally in no hurry but when some one tells me 4 days tops and my c3 dealer wanting a date, i personally feel like i might as well just get my money back and tell them to just send the can back and just for get about the end cap.

so thats what i told the company, since the guy has not even called me since the suppressor came in to tell me he looked the can over after countless calls and emails ( only getting the secretary when i email ) I told them to just mail my money order back and the suppressor.

I honestly wouldnt mind the wait, but i dont see why this guy has not called me, the secretary told me today she would make sure he gave me a call, i waited till 8 tonight gave the guy a call and he sent me right to his voice mail, that was the last straw for me.

should i cut them a break ? should i tell this c3 dealer on my end to just relax and let these guys do their work ? I am in between bad customer service and a pushy c3 dealer

Re: Am I in the wrong here ?

First I have never heard of a pushy class 3 dealer so I think you are over stating the story a bit. If the guy was sick give him two weeks before being so pushy. Plus if you over call and over e-mail to the point of coming across as a stalker then maybe you shouldn't have any work done on anything. This is the gun industry and things can take a bit. Did you call the Feds every single day to see if you were cleared to own the suppressor? Things take time. Anyone who owns a gun shop knows things can take time and like I stated above I doubt the dealer is being pushy except for the one reason alone, for you to leave them alone. JMHO

Re: Am I in the wrong here ?

You'll probably receive many comments regarding this issue. My advise to you is, "if you're not in a hurry let the guy do the work". I've yet to see anything go quick in the NFA world, maybe it's my examiner. If he was set up at the Shot Show, maybe it's taking him longer to get caught up, especially if he was sick. I wouldn't know why your SOT holder is in such a hurry, you might ask him why.

Re: Am I in the wrong here ?

black_ump, you and Savage110 should spawn children together.

You two could have your own reality show for all the world to see.

Everyone would feel better about themselves after watching it.

Make it a variety show, and Shanky could do the choreography.

Re: Am I in the wrong here ?

Please spend your money on spell check instead of stupid broken, dented, want-to-be mall ninja stuff. Beter yet hire an administrative assistant. If I was your dealer and got an email from you I would want to get rid of you as quick as possible too.

Re: Am I in the wrong here ?

Actually, that's the first time I've ever commented on something like that. One post hardly makes me a punctuation Nazi. The only reason I bothered posting at all was my head started to hurt trying to read UMP's post.

Re: Am I in the wrong here ?

Just my .02, but I've been on this site since 2003. It started out as a pleasant site where someone could come and ask questions and not have someone jump on their ass. I've been reading posts such as this, and have come to the conclusion that this site is starting to turn into AR15.com. Remember not all are created equal on these topics, this is why we have this forum. If you don't have something to say that's nice or helpful (not in a snide manner) then keep your fingers off the keyboard.

I agree with your statement. However, in 2003 this place wasn't a Dr. Laura support group for teen age boys. There has been a substantial influx of high school kids that are internet experts on all things tacticool but have to start threads to find out what hand to wipe their ass with.
Just my opinion.

Re: Am I in the wrong here ?

This is funny as shit. I love reading these posts, I "ignored' this asshole shortly after he arrived here(same with maser and nobody and....). Now I like to look at these threads and see all the conversation this guy starts, it is always the same thing.

Re: Am I in the wrong here ?

Well gentleman, I must admit I try to give everyone a fair chance, but I usually do not look at past post to see if that person is a "Couch Commando". As I get older my mind does not remember as much as it did. I typically will not comment on a thread if I know the individual is an "Ass Pickle". I just don't want to see this site end up like the other shit holes.

Someone has to do it!

Re: Am I in the wrong here ?

"Am I in the wrong here?"

Well it does sound like you are. Haven't you EVER been sick? I can understand a call to make sure it got there and one more to see if the guy had gotten to it yet but once you found out he was out sick you should have quit calling for at least a week. Let's face it that is not a type of work he can just take home with him.

Re: Am I in the wrong here ?

its funny a lot of guys say my punctuation hurts their eyes and they cannot read my posts, yet they are the same guys that visit ALL my posts and reply in ALL my posts.

lots of contradiction going on, i dont mind it, i know you guys cannot help your selves, just like i cannot make my grammar perfect or my punctuation perfect, you just cannot help from visiting my posts, its ok.

How ever i must say this... i dont think despite all of your judging on my grammar, punctuation and silly topics I have every visited one of your guys posts and filled it will off topic answers and on top of that judgmental answers, I am not in any way upset lol but but if this is the way you feel then when you see a post and my name as the poster you automatically know the grammar and all that is going to suck and if it upsets you so much why visit only to leave another grammar post and then another and then another and then another post after post, iam pretty set in my ways, do you really have the time to make posts about grammar all day long ? do you find it humorous ? if answer's to either of these questions are "YES" then while i am doing my best at grammar you should try and pull your heads out of your asses and raise the maturity bar just a little.

just my .02, their are alot of guys i know of that can agree with you on my grammar, yet i still talk to these guys via pm's and on the boards, they let me know my grammar sux, i agree and we move on. I am sure if it bothered them that bad they would simply not reply in my posts and tell me not to pm them.

i feel a lot of you need to either put up or simply shut up and not visit my posts, again I do my best to step up with better spelling and grammar so i think a lot of you should either accept that or just stop looking into my posts.

Again iam not upset just simply stating the obvious.

and to get back to the op, yes in a way i do feel i was in the wrong.. but my dealer ( the one of the two ) can be a down right pushy jack ass, and since technically he owns my can what more can i do ? and at the same time when some one quotes me a time period or limit, then thats what i expect, just like when i was making gun racks for some of the hide members, if i tell you 4 day turn around then i give my self 4 days tops to make, sand, stain and clear coat your gun rack, i simply stick to the time period.

I will also say i didnt know that the guy doing the work on my suppressor worked on a second shift so 5 min after i made this post he did call me, i got the can today and every thing was perfect, they even cleaned my can for me and we found out the baffles did come out, I am more then satisfied with the company i had do the work for me

Re: Am I in the wrong here ?

You pissed all over them on this forum.
They jumped thru hoops to fix your can and get it back to you.
Hope you're proud of yourself.

But, it is not just you. I see it here a lot. Some are just way too quick to jump on message boards and shit all over someone or company when it really isn't justified.

I'm not real sure truer words have ever been spoken.

Re: Am I in the wrong here ?

sad. ive seen it happen to guys that make really good stuff that has never had an issue, then all of a sudden get flamed by another newbie that didnt research everything before he bought the product and now he doesnt like the fit of his bottom metal or his gelcoat is chipped and he wants to get a new stock and not let McMillan fix it for free. its sad and all too common
