So I posted a couple weeks ago about a couple issues I had on my 700 build. One got solved at the smith, the other I think I solved today. I was having light primer strikes on hornandy steel match, even though the rifle had shot it fine before I put it in the stock. Well, figured out today my DIY bolt knob was hitting the cutout on my choate tactical stock. Dremeled it out, can slide a piece of paper between the two easily, so no contact. I had to remove a significant amount from the handle and the stock. My guess is my bolt being out of battery slightly caused the light strikes. What say you???
