Yep...this was a colossal F-up by the CEO of Rainier (John Hwang) who accidentally e-mailed ALL of the folks on Rainier's mailing list the dealer pricing of the Raptor Ambi CH (which is still a good bit less than the "sale" price being offered to all as an apology for the "ooops").

They ARE the snizzle, I bought one and immediately bought another, I'll be slowing getting them for all my AR's.

Are you a lefty? If not, what is it about them that makes them so great? I have a lefty friend looking to pick one up, but I don't know that I could stomach the cost as a righty.

Snatched up two on the sale direct from the manufacturer (AXTC). Me being right handed I prefer the option of right side bolt charging when shooting precision, and I like doing weak side training (even though I suck really, really bad at it).

I love mine. I am a right hand shooter and really appreciate the ambi feature while on duty because you just never know when you may be behind cover and are forced to shoot and or reload. off hand.

I am very seriously considering one of these because i am a lefty and to also do weak side transition then using the right side of the charging handle be a great plus. Also at the price of this kick butt product it is really hard to not want to jump on it.

Rainier Arms are good to go. I just bought one of thier 20" match grade .308 barrels to go on a gas gun build and its very nice. I got the e-mail also but the way my AR sits on my vest with the crap I have to put on it, hits the release on ambi-charging handle and it keeps poping free from the upper reciever and when I go to shoulder it the charging handle hits me in the nose.
