Due to limited vision in my right eye i am forced to shoot my AR left handed. For those of you who have used them what do you think? Which one would you buy? I really wish I could try them out somewhere local, but, these things are hard to find.
It's going on a MK12 clone.

Re: Ambidextrous charging handles

I've got the Badger on a 223 setup and on a Grendel. Makes charging the rifle much easier-both are scoped (one NF NSX, one HDMR).

Only problem is the Badger seems back ordered everywhere-I had wanted to add one to my wife's build.

Re: Ambidextrous charging handles

There are a bunch and I am slowly trying them all. Currently, I am running Badgers LH charging handle. It has the large latch on the right side and a std. AR latch on the left. They are pretty nice and the large latch on the left allows you to grab it without jamming your hand into the forward assist.

I have two that I am not currently using and won't use for a while. 1 new in the wrapper and one used for 150 rounds. If anyone wants them, PM me and I will sell them for what I paid minus $10 for used one (bought them at Triad for $75 shipped). (Mods please delete this paragraph if it is against the rules.)

The ACLM is another good one. I haven't used it much but I really like it. Seems less prone to snag on gear when slung. The downside is I am not sure how strong it is. Only time will tell.

Here is an interesting design that has not come out yet: http://militarytimes.com/blogs/gearscout...arging-handles/

If you are a LH AR shooter, check out Military Moron's blog. He shoots LH and reviews most ambi parts on the market.
