Looking to see if anyone is using American Defense mounts and what is the difference between the Scout and Recon. Which would you prefer for a SS 1x4 vs the SWFA mount.

I run a Single lever No cant on an AR10 with a MR/T 1.5-5 m2..
No Issue,Not a Larue for sure...The SWFA mount is a BOBRO branded SWFA..I have One BOBRO mount at this time and I am on the fence,eather it lost zero when Removed or I have a TA31F that shifted ZERO 1moa left and 1MOA high..

Is there any advantage of two levers vs one? Is the repeatability better or is a robust factor?

2 would be stronger,and if one mount broke you would have the second to hold it,My single has held ZERO threw a couple decent nocks,No real hard abuse yet,I did rmove it a few times went back to zero..I would have Bought the Double myself,But this was a leftover from SCAR17 scope mounting that didnt work out,LARUE LT123 Worked better on the SCAR for the lower height and the 10 Was left mountless so single lever went on..[Wish I could click my heels 3 times and see a LARUE on there

I'm running a Recon and love it.
Not to mention ADM hooked me up with all new screws for free.
Apparently you should never leave small items out were children will find them and hide them.

I run the scouts on a few rifles
Hunting with my 68 and 3gun with a 556
I am constantly swapping scopes around and the ADM always returns to zero
Never had any issues and I am not easy on gear
I don't abuse my stuff but I don't baby them either
If I was going to war I would opt for the 2 lever version just for extra insurance and piece of mind

As the others have already stated, go with the American Defense Recon mount. I have my NXS mounted in one and it's a rock-solid piece of equipment. No matter how many times I detach it, my scope returns to zero every time.

Been running one on the AR10 for while. It's on the AE right now in preparation for a proper RTZ test. Mine is the RECON model. It's a solid piece and adjusts quickly.
