Rifle Scopes American defence mount screw size

I have a ADM RECON mount and planning on getting another and do not have mount torgued to spec just "hand feel". Mount has not come loose on my AR-15. But I want to put new mount on a 308AR and want to square everything away.


I have been tearing my tool boxes apart trying to find the correct size bit for my wheeler torque wrench. And I have several bits? I looked at the site but only tells the 20/25 in-lb but no info on size. Only thing that fits is the allen key I got with mount.

Anyone help me out?

Off the the top of my head I think it's a 9/64th. I know it's a size, alot of sets don't come with.

I believe he is correct. My fat wrench didn't have the correct bit in it but I did have one in another set of tools. If someone hasn't posted up I will try and remember to do so.

Did a google search of "adm mount 9/64 " and found a Amazon review of the vortex badged ADM mount and a dude wrote in review about how mount takes 9/64 and it was a non common size so make sure to get one if you dont have one.

It is 9/64th. I know brownells sells the magna-tip sets that have it in them.
