Anyone who has not read the book American Sniper the Chris Kyle story is missing out. This book is excellent.

I really liked the book. It wasn't overwritten and the whole time I felt like I was sitting around a campfire listening to him tell his stories. I may have to reread it after I finish Service by Marcus Luttrell

Now read The Red Circle, the guy that taught both of them what they know. Training that Marcus credits for keeping him alive.
