I know that this is probably not the right place to ask but I feel more at home with the rowdies here . I don't reload and everytime I get to the point where I'm ready to pony up for some equipment something comes up . The effin dryer , the car , the fridge whatever . I swear it is some evil fuckin plot . but any way my Savage 10T loves 150gr Fusion , 168gr Rem UMC . Twice I have had the Fed Fusion jump like 2 frickin inches . while shooting . It happens when I open a new box and then "F" my rounds move up 2 inches . The first time it happened I was at 300yds and it jumped like 2.5 inches consistently . The next time was 100yds and I shit you not like 2 inches consistently . I thought my scope ( Vortex PST 4-16 ) went to shit or maybe the rail or I dunno and I'm freakin out . Realized it was the new box . Then had it happen the second time and figured definitely the new box . I have never experienced this with FGMM or the UMC . Has anyone else ever had a similar experience .

You got a Chrono? Knowing the velocity would be very telling on this. If not, I suppose it's possible to have about a Minute variance lot to lot, but wholly shit.
Start reloading, then you're gonna pull your hair out. But it's fun. A chronograph will really help answer this though.

Lot numbers can make some difference.
2 to 3 Moa seems like a lot though.
If your scope shit to bed they would be all over the place.
When you open a new box take the time to dry fire to remove the cold shooter factor.

You stated you were shooting 150 grain Federal Fusion. Later you wanted to know if anyone has seen this with FGMM.

I have never had consistent results with 150 grain Fusion out of either of my gas guns. I don't experience the sudden jump but it don't group for crap out of either of my Larue AR10s.

FGMM is another matter entirely. Very consistent out of my gassers and my AT when I use 175 grain FGMM

shoot fgmm and save the brass, once you realize the wife doesnt need a dryer or washer and only a clothes line between two trees and a wash board with a big ass galvanized steel bucket you will buy yourself some powder, primers, 175 smk's, IMR 4064 powder, load the 175 up with 41.75 grains of imr 4064 in your new coax press and shoot tiny groups. seriously get a press and acumilate the components you will save money in the long run and shoot way better , well a little better than the FGMM but it is cheaper over time if you buy quality stuff from the start.
