No...just clean the chamber well. Some of it (probably most) has a varnish over the metal...that transfers to the chamber walls and can make things sticky. JMHO

not bad, but watch for pressure signs. All steel and surplus ammo made my bolt stick. If you don't have that problem, then other than bad accuracy, shoot away! Besides what everyone else tells you, the steel in the casing is much softer than the bore.

Shouldn't hurt your rifle but don't expect much accuracy out of them. When I used some all I could get it to do was "cluster" on the target. no groupings.
