Nobody of any importance is gonna get arrested. Just the peons.
Now they need to go after Medicare, Medicaid, and look at DME spend.
And every federal employee who abused one of the credit cards that supposedly racked up millions or tens of millions in bullshit charges should be fired on the spot. No question no nothing. If you use your federal credit card at a golf course or a strip club or a weekend resort, you are fired. Because you can’t be trusted.

Now go find work in the private sector with the “I was fired from the federal government for miss using my credit card“ and see how long they last before they are digging ditches or working at Burger King. Nope… just company ones and if I used them inappropriately, I would be fired. Every penny had to be turned in and accounted for on travel or purchase forms.

Isn't that way at my organization. I have a vehicle card, a purchase card to and a travel card. We have to reconcile each every month with multiple hurdles. Purchases have to be 889 compliant, have receipts and serve a business purpose. By locking down purchase cards they just made you go through 3 more hurdles when repairing parts, purchasing parts or tools, or buying helmets/pants/boots.
Seems to me the problem was the specific person and whoever was signing off on things. It definitely sounds like a lot of people are involved.

Well let me tell you, gov't credit cards are the same way... All those bullshit rumors they're feeding you about govt credit cards are pure bullshit. Let me assure you no one's swiping most govt credit cards at strip clubs. There's 3 types of credit cards that I know of. One uses YOUR ssn, and it's your name on it, and YOU have to pay it back. To abuse that is to abuse your own credit score and the taxpayers do not pay for it. The other one is something like a unit credit card. That's not yours and the tax payers do pay for it. This and the previous card are mostly blocked; as in you cant swipe them at strip joints as they wont work. They're also very closely monitored. If one unauthorized purchase shows up on there, you're in trouble let me tell you. The last one that I'm aware of is the one the politicians have. Those are taxpayer paid, and I'm sure they abuse the shit out of them. And they will never, ever get in trouble for that I'm sure.

No, they're not nutless. Not a single one of them. In fact, they have BIGGER nuts than any one of us. To do what they're doing to us and our tax dollars, and have no fear of being drug out on the street and hung, is pretty dam brave. They know what they're doing; ALL of them. No, there's fraud (its actually mostly waste honestly) it's just not as rampant throughout the government as elon and trump are wanting you to believe. It's mostly in the super high echelons. It's higher up politicians and directors.

This is true. There are actually a lot of really good employees around, it's the higher ups doin all this bullshit, like that 4 star air force general that just got caught. They're like ants. If you see one, theres 20 more behind the scenes. It aint the E6's doin this type of stuff. Like those senior executive service guys that make up gs14 slots out of NOWHERE for their buddies that they hung with before they were SES's. This is the stuff we need to go after. THAT shit is rampant. What's shitty is sure some SES positions are getting cut, but theres a TON more GS 11 positions getting cut too, which is where a lot of people are going to feel it when the support those gs11's gave are all gone. Watch and see.
I believe most of the fraud requires multiple people in key positions including directors to pull off. Joe nobody isn't running million dollar scams on the system without having multiple levels above him being a part of it.
