An Observation re: DTA

Re: An Observation re: DTA

Right when they came out, we saw three or four on the boards after a few weeks of use. Still, I agree with you. I haven't seen a DTA up for probably 2 months or so. I'd even bet that some of the bugs that came with the initial product have been corrected as well.

Re: An Observation re: DTA

Bought mine here off of the hide in november. Mine came with the spot welded mags, so far havent had an issue with them but know the fully welded mags are available. Have both the 338 and 308 set up. Rifle looked as advertised in NIB condition.Have found the rifle to be extremely accurate and a blast to shoot. The 338 is expensive and only have put about 50 rounds through the barrel but is a real kick in the ass to shoot. This was my first bolt action and I am not disappointed in the least.

Re: An Observation re: DTA

I sold my complete kit set up for 308 and 338. I loved the whole platform. Worked great.

I sold it after getting a Patriot customized LTR and coming to the conclusion that my shooting, 700 and in for 90% of it, didnt require the big heavy rifles.

Re: An Observation re: DTA

You guys are getting me excited! I am waiting on mine to arrive later this week. I got it in Tan only in the .308 for now but am thinking about getting the .300 or .338 conversion in the future for it.

I have noticed the same thing lurking around SH for a while now. See lots of rifles come up for sale but not one of these in a while!

Re: An Observation re: DTA

I was shooting with my buddy this weekend, he recently got his SRS back from DT after having the monopod added.

I will have to say, they did a really good job on the monopod. I am sure it is pricey, but it works well. Especially from the bench.
