Night Vision AN/PVS-27 MUNS Generation 3 course of fire?

I need to set up a course of fire for a AN/PVS-27 MUNS Generation 3 for LE mounted to Kimber 8400s. Any suggestions?

What is your intended purposes? Training for two way range? Practice for hunting? Competition?

Initial training for LE, as the Optics were just acquired.

you need to set it up based on the demographics of your department. City, urban or rural. Different lighting, etc. You have a great device in the PVS-27, and the Kimber is a great shooting weapon. I have one, and it will drive tacks.

Not knowing a bit more about your situation makes it tough to go further. Several years ago the average long shot for rifles was UNDER 75 yards for LE. No COP is going to give a green light for a night shot without a lot of confidence in his men and rather dire circumstances. Things have changed a lot since I was in LE, but we did a lot of timed shooting and intel gathering for our sniper teams. Not too much like the military at all.
