I could understand it, but I think it sounds like crap. It's yelling into a microphone. It takes no particular skill- he's obviously not holding a tune or hitting any specific notes. I could likely get a local autistic kid to fill in for him when he's sick and no one would notice!

Cassical modes are some of the same used in heavy metal. If you don't appreciate the musical talent of what they are doing try playing it on the guitar.

Unfortunately most of the lyrics in that type of music isn't very wholesome. At least with Mozart there isn't any singing.

Mozart's Requiem was pretty cool. I meant it as a general statement. Mozart has alot of instrumental music, not so much with Heavy Metal.

Sorry Mulehunter, but it was Verdi's Requiem, not Mozart.

Still a very powerful and stirring production. It was even more powerful (to me) when it was performed by the Reading Buccaneers Drum & Bugle Corps back when I marched with them. Good stuff.

Oh. I stand corrected. I just remember hearing locally the advertisement on the radio at the Seattle Benaroya Hall for "Mozart's Requiem" and it was a bunch of dudes singing. It sounded good. Im not much of a band geek.

Im a fan of Heavy Metal music (not the singing or lyrics) and Classical music, except any that have the Harpsicord. I can't stand the Harpsicord and somehow it crowds into alot of classical music.

Hear me out.

Check out the video. Some of you guys are going to hate the singing understandably. I do not own or regularly listen to these guys music or anything similar (i stopped listening to this type of music a while ago) however, try listening to just the guitar and drum talent in the song. To say that bands like this don't have music talent is ignorant. Whether its this song or Fur Elise to me there is beauty in talent.
