I tried annealing 200 cases this morning. When I fired it up, the flame was blue, pencil thin, and looked normal from what I've seen with my Annealeez and others. After about 20 to 30 cases, the flame went wide open and was more orange than blue. I killed the flame at the torch and when I opened the valve again, I saw visible gas that looked almost like mist or smoke and the torch was spitting out liquid onto the wheel. Since the wheel was hot, the liquid bubbled. I haven't modified my Annealeez, so I still have the standard torch, tubing, small camping propane bottle, etc. I left the torch off for a couple of minutes, turned the valve on again, and I had no more visible gas or liquid. When I fired it up again, the flame was blue, but considerably larger than normal. There was no fine point in the flame, but more of a rounded tip. Any thoughts on what happened or how to fix it? I've gotten some suggestions on a Facebook annealing group, like my a regulator and switch to a 20 pound tank, but I figured I'd ask here too. Thanks, all!
