Annealling?

Just got a bench source annealer and wanted some opinions. I bought 650 tempilaq as suggested by bench source and used it inside the neck and followed the video on the hide.and every other video that I could find. So at this point I ran a test with the tempilaq on the inside of the neck and on the outside of the shoulder and neck and ran the flame test like the video shows. Everything seems good to go but I am only get a slight hint of color change on the outside of the cases. I can't get my cases to turn that dark of a brownish color without over annealing them.
So what do you think?

I have heard that you do not always get the color change, especially if you cleaned the cases first with stainless steel pins.

Yeah, I wouldn't over think the color change.. different manufacturers brass will look different, even case lot#s of the same brand can look different.

Some change color some don't. Trust the tempilaq. You will feel the difference when seating.
