They will never win against the power of Mother Nature. The Earth is pretty much 2/3 to 3/4 ocean. Humans occupy about 11% of the land mass. There's statistically no measurable way that human activity could ever move the needle against the influence of the sun and our oceans.

I don't think that is accurate, I imagine a few dozen nukes would "move the needle".

But they can't do that that would be too easy to spot. No they will talk up like stuff like this, and it is likely to push the needle in the other direction, then they can say see, look it is as bad as we have been telling you.

Then the tinfoil hat folk will be saying you have been dumping tons of "ice" in the sky.....does that ice come in orange barrels?

Ehhhhh not so much.

However the bigger problem isn't earth's health: Its us. (Earth will soldier on for roughly 4 billion years or so with or without u before the sun dies and/or swallows earth in its Red Giant phase--however within a few million years small changes in sun's output will kill us--its just a few degrees, but it will basically snuff out life--stars get brighter as they get older naturally--even as main sequence stars/non-giants).

And also the Earth/Sun deciding to move the needle BACK--the big problem with climate is its true Chaos in math terms (aka Butteryfly effect) what we do now can/does have unintended consequences. Even if we "waved" or magic wand and eliminated "greenhouse" gasses.

This is not an endorsement of the "Climate Agenda" but a pushback on them that basically says "You people are as dumb as you think we are"

No one has any clue what we are doing to and about climate, and that is the REALLY scary part.

Doesn’t one active volcano put out as much pollution as all the cars on the planet?
Pretty much. I don't know if it is that exact figure but a large eruption (such as Mt Pinatubo in the 1990s) has more effect on climate than 200 years of the industrial revolution. And it isn't the "gas": Dust in the air reflects sunlight and caused the planet to cool.

And a big eruption can cause things like
the year without a summer.

Catastrophic Eruptions/Super Volcanos:(Like yellowstone or mt. toba) Kiss your ass goodbye. 75,000 years ago humanity went though a bottleneck. Like down to 2000 individuals total (estimate, memory foggy after so many years). The same time Mt Toba erupted. And BTW Homo Sapiens were world-wide by then, if not in the Americas. Global Fuckening (Winter was coming, Came, and covered the Earth for 1000 years)
