I have all the parts ready for a build on a Badger 2008 action. If this gun is going to be a switch barrel gun should the action get the coating before the barrel is installed? Is the coating the last thing that gets done ?
Thanks

Re: Another coating question......

When coating anything I've built I try to coat everything broken down as much as possible. I even coat my AK receivers before I rivet in the trunions and then re-spray the entire receiver after installing the trunions & final riveting.

I did the same thing on all the AK's I've built. A light coat of grease between the receiver and reunion as well. Once there together its final.

Re: Another coating question......

Another thing was head space ? I know its a thin layer should it be chambered with the coating between the barrel and receiver ?

I'm waiting on a stock from Badger then my first custom rifle will be built.
