Another LEO killed in Colorado today

This afternoon around 15:00 5 Feb. an El Paso Co. Deputy was shot and killed. 2 other Deputies and 1 Colo. Spgs. PD Officer were wounded but they haven't said how bad yet. News is pretty sketchy so far.
Damn, this shit is getting old. It seems like it is open season on LEOs out here.
He is the 3rd. since New Years Eve.

I have been watching the local news for any updates and they are not very forthcoming.
I don't know why they are holding the details under their vests but they are. Different agencies and shit is not together? I don't know.
It is a tragic thing and I pray for the lost Officer's family and all involved in this mess.
There is one Officer that as of last night was in surgery and stable so I guess that is good. How bad is he hurt? I don't know.
As to the others, I have no idea. Nobody saying NADA. One "civilian" was also caught up in this and other than a wound to the back, that is all I have heard.
I hope the other LEOs have bandaid and bandage wounds and are not on life support as well as the "civilian" but would like to know.
I do not understand all of the secrecy going on? What is there to hide?
I will still Pray for all involved but would like to know what I am offering up my Prayers for.
That is all I can do at this time, but if those guys need something and it is within my capabilities to fulfill their needs, I will load my truck and take off down there to help them in any way I can. FM

All they are putting out at this point is it was a joint effort on some kind of vehicle theft. Still for the most part pretty hush hush for some reason?
I wonder if it involved Illegal Immigrants or someone studying to be a rocket scientist or brain surgeon turning their life around.?

Id add that it is also related to the growing disrespect for law enforcement in general., some of which, as Im certain AJ will agree, they have brought upon themselves by not 'policing' their own.

Every time I am out there I cannot believe that a complete shithole the springs has become. They are overflowing with homeless drug users. It is a complete shame.
